Menu Sunday

I've been hit hard by some sort of food poisoning/stomach bug and today has been the first time I felt like moving since about 10 last night.  Gross!  It doesn't help that I've been zonked out watching "Snapped" where there's always some sort of vomiting/poisoning victim.  KB's been a pretty good nurse today so unless he's feeling pretty guilty then I should be okay.

I'm not sure how many of these recipes will get made this week since I still feel like death, but here they are for your viewing pleasure.

Mon: Hawaiian Sweet Roll Ham Sammies

Tues: Pepperoni Pizza Pull Apart Bread

I forgot to get pizza dough at the grocery store yesterday so I'll more than likely be making my own for this.  Pepperoni, mozzarella and marinara were on sale though, so it's still a score.

Wed: Bacon, Eggs, Biscuits
There's no fun picture or recipe for this one.  I have bacon left over from last week and I'm not really sure what to do with it.  I'm not a huge breakfast for dinner fan, but KB really is.  I can make do as long as it isn't pancakes or waffles.

Thurs: Quick Curried Chick Peas

I have a big can of chickpeas hanging out in my pantry too.  I was supposed to use it in a recipe last week, but I forgot about them and didn't use them.  I really like currys and KB can tolerate them.  This is also from a great website called "Budget Bytes".  I'm always up for something cheap.

What goodies will you be eating this week?

  1. I actually love breakfast for dinner. But you can freeze bacon if you have extra. Just pop in a zip bag and freeze. Easy peasy.

I am def going to try the curry chick peas- yum!
