Whew - it has been a whirlwind New Year's weekend, but we're finally back home and ready for another Menu Sunday.
Here's what we will be eating this week...
Mon: What's Shakin' Beany Bacon Soup
I normally don't make the same recipes more than once or twice, but this one is a favorite. KB asks for this all the time and since it's going to be a cold, snowy day tomorrow I told him I'd make it for him. It's also really easy, but tastes really good.
Tues: Asian Style Country Ribs from this cookbook....
I have the original "Fix It and Forget It" and I love it. My mother in law got me the revised and updated version for Christmas and it is even better. These ribs look delicious. I'll be sure to do a recipe post for them so you can see how they actually turned out.
Wed: Jalapeno Poppers
I got a ton of crescent rolls on sale at the grocery store a few weeks ago and I need to use them up. These look easy and delicious. I'm a big fan of having appetizers and snacks for dinner....KB not so much.
Thurs: Slow Cooker Vegetable Stew
I have a ton of turnips that showed up at my house from KB's grandpa last week, so I'm looking for creative ways to use them up. This recipe looks really easy and like something I could load up with turnips that won't necessarily taste like turnips.
