Thoughts on a Thursday

It's time for my thoughts on a Thursday!

Link up with Carolyn to play along.

  • I can't believe October is almost over.  I've had jury duty this week and the week has flown by.  I've only actually gone to work one day so far.  Hopefully the trial will be over this afternoon and I can go in tomorrow, but it's been kinda nice not having to go to work.  I'm sure my coworkers aren't so happy!

  • We're going to see this guy tomorrow night:
He's really weird, he's really crazy, but he's also really fun.  I'm sure it will be crazy since it's a Hallowen show and he is recording an album at the same time.  I'm sure there will be stories.

  • I've been doing a lot of Denise Austin workout recently and she kinda creeps me out.  I get a good workout, but sometimes I'm just weirded out by her whole personality.
Obviously I'm not doing this workout, but can you get the creepiness of this?  I can.

  • I really want to try out some mulled wine recipes this weekend.  I have a big bottle of red wine in my fridge from when KB went out of town on business a few weeks ago and we've hardly touched it.  I'm not a huge wine fan, but I think I might like it better if it were warm and had some spices any it.  Any suggestions?

What are your thoughts on a Thursday?

  1. I can't believe it's almost November either. Where did October go?! What happened there? How was your jury trial? As a lawyer (although not a litigator), I'm intrigued by trials. I had jury duty once, but the case I might have been picked for was being tried by the firm I worked for, so I was immediately disqualified. I'd love to hear about your experience. Very proud of you for serving, our judicial system can definitely use more competent, intelligent jurors.

  2. OMG! You are just full of surprises. We just knew you'd be the jury foreperson. LOL!
